What we offer

What we are offer fellows is funding, a customised itinerary shadowing a healthcare team and specialists, a host and a ‘buddy’.

Funding:

We offer funding for flights, food, travel etc. Funding can be up to £1000. The exact funding will not be known until applications have been received and the appropriate funds are distributed amongst the fellows. You are also welcome to part fund the visit yourself if you are able to, please indicated this in your cover letter.

Customised shadowing itinerary:

We will provide you with access to UK specialists and healthcare teams on your observatory attachment where you can shadow in your chosen speciality for 2 - 4 weeks. If you would like a longer placement this can be discussed.

Host:

This will be someone trusted by the Rokadiya Fellowship team who can provide accommodation in whichever city the fellow is placed in. The host may also be the fellows buddy where possible.

​

Buddy:

The buddy will be a UK healthcare professional who will show the fellow around whichever city they are in, help them go to their clinical attachments and provide a support system for any questions the fellow may have during their visit. The idea of having a buddy is to create lasting friendships between people across the globe.

You will be responsible for organising your own visa to the UK.
